"His Measured manner incites caution but his smile lights up a room"

Born and raised in Houston,TX, David realized his love for acting at 9 years old in a school play about going to the dentist. He played a cavity and at that point the actor was born. His love for film also deepened his love for the craft.

His second love was sports. An athlete at heart, David brings the discipline he learned in athletics to his acting career. He typically plays roles where his measured manner incites caution but his smile lights up a room.

David has done numerous live theatre productions and films. His more notable projects are “Kiss Me Kate”, “A Few Good Men”, and “If Not For His Grace” among many others. David has studied with Andrew Benne at the Los Angeles Acting Studio  and the Actors Workout Studio.

As a writer of poetry and plays, David takes the vulnerability he has as an actor and puts it on the written page. His most prominent work as a writer is “Port Chicago 50”, a play based on the true events of 50 African American sailors standing up for their rights against the US Navy during WW2. “Port Chicago 50” has performed Off-Broadway at the National Black Theatre in Harlem, the Black Repertory Theatre in Berkeley Ca. as well as in San Francisco and Atlanta and Chicago.
